Breakfast ideas for baby that doesn't like weetabix or porridge?

Hi all, my DD is 7 months, absolutely loved food when first introduced. Had a blip whilst her first two teeth were coming through, now starting to enjoy food again. She generally eats really well at lunch and dinner. I give a mix of mash/pureed food plus finger foods - favourites are banana, broccoli, avocado for finger foods. I do get a bit nervous when she is eating as she is quite over ambitious with her bites at times and we have had a couple of vomiting incidents. But generally good.

We have introduced breakfast and this is the one meal we struggle with. We have tried weetabix and porridge, she will have a couple of teaspoons then she grabs the spoon and smashes it about and won't eat anymore. It might be she doesn't have enough of an appetite - she has a good sized bottle an hour before. But to test this I gave her a wafer and she gobbled it up. I wonder if she would be better if I gave her finger foods at breakfast as I do think she prefers feeding herself.

Does anyone have any ideas or recommendations for breakfasty finger foods? I have given her toast before but got super nervous at the size of her bites. Perhaps I should swallow the nerves and go ahead with that?

Thank you all in advance!

Thanks so much, keep 'em coming! Today was the first day we tried one of the ideas. Yoghurt made with coconut milk and fruit. WOW what a difference, cleared her bowl! Clearly it wasn't that she was full, she just doesn't like porridge or weetabix. Trying banana pancakes next!

DC loved ready brek wish things on it at that age like chopped banana or berries and DC2 loved eggy bread or a blueberry pancake. I've got CMPA so we make them with almond milk.

My DD has been the same and I'm still struggling for new breakfast ideas at almost 12 months. She loves fruit, especially all types of berries and kiwifruit. We also do Greek yoghurt but she doesn't really like spoon feeding and prefers to eat it with her hands so it's super messy. Toast with nut butter, avocado or cream cheese is a good option (maybe you can find a dairy free alternative to the cream cheese?). Hard boiled egg is easy and can be prepared in advance. She sometimes likes French toast but has turned down most of the other common BLW snacks (oat muffins, porridge fingers, pancakes, banana bread etc) - maybe I'm just a bad cook 🙄Egg muffins (with lots of veggies) are another one you can prepare in advance and freeze and are also good for an easy lunch or dinner.

Violife cream cheese is so yummy! So is plant based Philadelphia (actually better than regular!).
