How to get baby to take baby vitamins

I asked DH to buy Abidec for six month old DD and there wasn't any in the shop. So he bought a Wellbaby vitamin supplement instead, which is also for six months up. However, it says to mix it in baby's milk or water, and that it mustn't be given neat (I don't know why, but given the packet specifically says not to, I don't want to do it).

The thing is, she's breastfed and only has sips of water with meals. So I have no idea how I'm going to give it to her! Any suggestions welcome.

You can mix it in food as well.
I used to give it to my son neat before I realised it had to be mixed, and he was always OK. I had used a different brand before that could be given neat so I assumed this could be too.

We used to do it in porridge or yoghurt

I mix it into porridge, weatabix or yoghurt for my baby Smile

Mix it in her yoghurt or breakfast.

I'll be honest, I gave up giving my kids multivits. They knew it was in the food and wouldn't eat it.

Both breastfed and I took a multivitamin so I'm sure they got what they needed

Thanks all, now you've pointed it out it's obvious and I feel like a complete fool! Will try it in her breakfast tomorrow.

I just got too caught up in thinking about what the packet said I think.

If it's drops you can give them on a spoon or put them on your nipple!

But mixing it into weetabix is probably the easiest thing.
