Best no spill cups for weaning?

Any advice on the best non spill cups for weaning would be much appreciated. I have tried a few types (a Mam one similar to her bottles, munchkin 360 and a straw cup that came with a bamboo weaning set) but not had much luck getting DD to drink water from any of them. Any suggestions? We are travelling soon so ideally I would have her used to one soon which we can take away with us.

We started with an open cup (tiny cup from ezpz) and a straw cup (tum tum weighted straw cup) both at 6 months.
My DS got the hang of the open cup after a few days because I could model it for him really easily but he struggled to get how to use the straw cup - specifically how to suck on a straw.
I posted on here for help and someone recommended putting yoghurt on the end of a straw and it worked straight away.
Since then he's been fine with using both of these cups. When we're out of the house or when he goes to nursery we use the Tum Tum straw cup and when he eats from his highchair at home we use the EZPZ open cup.

Just the bog standard Tommee Tippee sippy cup. It's no spill if the spout is in the closed position - not sure if that's good enough? It's just so easy for them to drink from. We transitioned to the munchkin 360 much later.

They call it the First Cup

This is what I was coming to say.

They're about £2 and no fancy straws or rubber rims to clean out. Doesn't leak, easy to drink from. There's a reason it's been around as long as it has.

Exactly. At that price you can get more than one as well in case you leave one somewhere.

Whichever cup you get, every other toddlers cup is the one they will want.

We have a tommee tippee one with a spout and one with a weighted straw and we use the ezpz cup at home. Somehow they just know how to use it from the start- it's a miracle design!

I've been a nanny for over twenty years and this is the cup I always recommend - it's cheap, simple to use and clean and you can use it without the lid when you introduce open cups.
