7 month old diet/how much food/milk

Hi,
My little one is 7 months this week and we’ve been weaning for a month now. I have just introduced a second “meal”. But I’m just a bit unsure of how much food to offer during meals and timings with his milk.

A typical daily diet is currently -
8am wake up and 6oz milk
9.30am porridge with puréed fruit (I am moving towards putting small chunks of chopped fruit like banana etc)
Nap
12pm 6oz bottle
1pm mashed veg option spread on wholemeal toast
Nap
5ish 6oz bottle
7-9pm bed with a bottle
(these are rough timings as he wakes up at different times but usually 8ish)

Is this okay for 7 months? Should he be having more food or milk? He doesn’t tend to drink the full 6oz either but he seems content and happy and never overly hungry

Also any other meal ideas would be great for his lunchtime meal? Other than toast and veggies I’m struggling for ideas!

Hi, you can give most foods at 7 months, so you could try meat, fish , eggs, pasta , potatoes or rice. My DCs at that age liked strips of omelette, cheesy mash , chicken risotto , stews mashed up ( mix of meat and root veggies ) , pasta with a sauce - cauliflower cheese was a hit, also bolognaise and thick tomato sauces. And you could try finger foods, soft cooked veggies work well, my kids liked flakes of salmon. Another thing the DC liked was stewed lentils and dahls.
