My 2 year old doesn't drink water, only milk

Slight exaggeration, but my daughter barely drinks any water.
She drinks full fat milk from a sippy cup all day long- is that enough fluids, or should I be forcing her to drink more water?

Ds was like this very difficult, I sometimes pretended that we had run out of milk. Now he is 3.5 and for the last couple of months I have been finding that he has been asking for milk less and seems happy to accept water.

Will she drink diluted fruit juice?

My 2 year old doesn't like water either. Only drinks (v diluted) juice and rice milk.

She's actually very lean, not at all overweight. I'm happy for her to drink milk the whole time if she wishes, it has less sugar than juice.... I was just worried that it might be not provide enough hydration.

As for 'forcing' I'm talking giving her a cup of water and keeping my fingers crossed.... .
She's a very stubborn little thing...

dd is 4 and still drinks nothing but formula milk. Any other liquid and she has a paddy.
Does worry me.
(she is brain damaged so doesn't understand any reasonend requests)

I think you can tell quite easily if your child is not getting enough hydration so if she is weeing plenty I'm sure you're fine with just milk.

You may well find that in warmer weather she will be keener on water - my dd guzzled water in the summer but at the moment she always wants juice or milk, I assume because she's not as thirsty so wants something tastier.
