So I'm just going to put it out there I'm not the best cook not terrible, I can when following recipes!

Can anyone please give me recommendations for good weaning cookbooks? Just want to be able to feed my baby better foods.

What Mummy Makes is good and was to follow.

*Easy to follow 🙄

I'd buy something like Jamies Ministry of Food and just not add salt during cooking, then you can mash the food up, or just let them feed themselves and you'll be in good shape for cooking healthy meals for you all

Thankyou I'll have a look into them🙂

We started with 'What Mummy Makes' but ended up just giving our daughter whatever we were eating. Her absolute favourite was chilli con carne! Grin

That's what I'm thinking of doing, we do give him bit of our veggies and things but I'm so worried about if I'm giving him the right things🙈

Wouldn't believe I used to work in a nursery, it's so different having your own baby x

I quite like Ella's Kitchen First Foods Book. It covers the basics and then more interesting family recipes and snacks for baby from 6 months to over a year.

@ljdxxx Just do what works best for you :) We started off with pureeing veg which my daughter hated and would spit out. My Mum and MIL suggested blending her what we were having for tea and she wolfed it down!

She's now 16 months old and all she seems to do is eat - she's definitely not a fussy eater :)

That's what we are doing now, we eat with him aswell I've got a few of these books to give me some ideas to eat abit healthier and he's loving them! He's doing so well loves his food, Thankyou for all your suggestions🙂
