dd had a cough/cold over christmas and went right off her food for a few a days, but she is better now and still refusing to eat.
she's never eatn much, but it used to be a bit of weetabix for breakfast, Organix baby food followed by yoghurt for lunch and dinner (tried to make my own but she hated it)

now it's all i can do to get a few teaspoons of yoghurt into her and she's been like this for 6 days. She is still breastfed but i haven't noticed that she's upped her milk intake much
she's very lively, cruising around the furniture or manic crawling, anyone else with a baby that seems to be surviving on fresh air, or any tips on how to get her to eat would be greatly appreciated

I think they do eat a bit less after a cold / being unwell, and their appetite can vary day to day, week to week.

My ds, also nearly 11 mo has stopped eating much of the food I've made him and seems to be living off fromage frais, toast and bananas. Part of this is due, I think, to the fact that he now hates being hemmed into his highchair and struggles to get out after a few mouthfuls of food. He's so busy crawling and cruising around the furniture, he won't stay still! Also, he's possibly fed up with being spoon fed now.

I've resorted to following him round the house offering him spoonfuls of this and that while he is playing, and plenty of finger foods, which he does take, and I think he is getting enough, even though it feels as though he is grazing rather than eating proper meals.

I think they do start getting fussy about what they eat from age 1 or so.

I've also taken apart his highchair to make it lower and just leave plenty of healthy finger foods foods on the tray so he can reach them and eat at his own pace, and am trying not to stress, thinking he'll eat what he needs in the end.
