Which baby blender?

Looked at the MN reviews but they're for adult uses. What baby blender do you swear by? My baby is quite noise sensitive so ideally looking for a quietish one (well as quiet as a blender can be 😂)!

I used a cheap hand blender
Depending on the age of the baby you may not get much use out of it

I strongly disagree with blending babies. Grin

I didn't buy one. I've had four babies, and just gave them normal food and they ate it.

If you're set on blending, don't waste your money on a fancy blender that's branded as one for babies. Just get a cheap stick/hand blender, they do the same job

I just used my normal magimix and also had a mini magic that we were given as a wedding present (for herbs I think) and that’s great. I would bother with a baby specific one

Just nearly spat out my tea! GrinGrinGrin

I used a stick blender. It was a basics one from Sainsbury's which we already had. It did both babies abs still went on for a few years.

I wouldn't spend any significant money on a blender specifically for blending.

They should be on mashed good with soft lumps by 7 months and you might get one like my DD who totally refused the spoon so we had to rethink and do finger foods only.

Thanks everyone Grin Just for the record I'm firmly against blending babies to Wink

With a stick blender, can you puree good this way?

Not sure I'd recommend buying one, you can just mash things with a fork very well. For example well cooked broccoli, potatoes etc. I have a normal magimix blender and I made purees about twice but then stopped bothering as it was too much effort to clean and my baby took to finger food straight away. Good luck whatever you decide!

Yes stick blenders do the job very well Smile
