Good ideas for allergy baby

Hey everyone, looking for some ideas and advice.

My 10 month old baby has cmpa, egg allergy and peanut allergy.

I'm looking for ideas as to what I can give her for lunches, I'm worried she will get bored of the usual veg, fruit, crackers with marmite, hummus etc. Has anyone ever had a low sugar high fruit content jam or a nut spread alternative? (She can have tree nuts, just not peanuts)
Obviously can't have any dairy or egg. I feel sorry for her that she's deprived of foods and want her to have as much choice as she can. She's breastfed so I know she's getting nutrients from the breast milk aswell. She's on 25th centile for weight so keen for her to eat as much as she needs to.

Thank you 😊

I think that toast might be you're friend here.

If it's just for lunches try smooth almond butter or toast (high in calcium).

Tinned sardines on toast (girls can have oily fish twice a week).

Violife on toast or mashed avocado on toast.

You can add things like halved grapes or cherry tomatoes, carrot sticks, berries or cucumber sticks to make it a bit more interesting.

Alternatively you could try a tuna or chicken wrap with vegan mayonnaise (the Hellman's one doesn't seem to contain anything that she's allergic to) or tuna mayo on a small jacket potato.

How about this Salmon Pasta? a lot of cheap dried pasta doesn't seem to contain egg so I think it might just be a process of checking all of the labels Smile

Just though of a couple more. How about homemade soup? I used to cook some and then freeze it in batches. Makes a quick lunch for you too Smile

You could try her with Pitta Pizzas as well. Just swap the cheese for violife.

My dd had a thing for guacamole. I often gave it to her with strips of pitta bread.
She also liked baked beans on toast or with a very small jacket potato.
Falafel was popular (I used this recipe www.nhs.uk/start4life/weaning/recipes-and-meal-ideas/falafel/ and often had some myself in a wrap)
You can now get dairy free Petit Filous (on offer in Tesco at the moment!)

Some brilliant ideas here thank you everyone!
I'm going to make her a soup tomorrow and the pittas are a good idea. Also didn't know about the dairy free petit filous so will look for those 😊

Meridian do low sugar jams and various interesting nut butters with nothing extra added except maybe a pinch of salt. They retail the full range in Holland and Barrett usually.

Look at chia Jams - super easy and very healthy!

St Dalfour jam isn’t low sugar as such (it’s still fruit) but it has no added sugar.

I’d highly recommend Bob’s Red Mill egg replacer for baking. It doesn’t have any weird ingredients, just tapioca flour, and it’s great for muffins etc.

My son is allergic to eggs as well and it’s a right pain but it’s definitely possible for them to have a nice varied diet. Of course now he’s four and will only eat chicken nuggets so we have other problems Grin
