Baby led weaning

Hey just need a little advice/kick up the bum. Have lost my confidence with baby feeding herself after she choked.
Have been giving finger foods, but there is a lots of different advice for size of food, she loves most foods and will try everything. I just worry about the size of the chunks I should be giving, strips of omelette are they better finger width, (I did this and a huge bit fell off in her mouth and she choked) or better larger so she can nibble, or thinner so if a bit comes off it’s a smaller amount in her mouth.
Same with banana have seen a few ways to chop it (see pic or in 1/4 strips) which is safest?
Just a little freaked out, I know choking is rare, also I am a nurse so know how to deal with it and have training every year. It just worries me so much.
Thanks

I don’t like to give banana in this way because if they take a big bite then it’s a perfect circle.

You can take the banana from above and cut it length ways so it’s easy to hold but then a bit would be a semi circle.
