Meal ideas for a 1 year old

DD has just turned one, she is well fed, has plenty of fruits and veg.
I'm looking for meal ideas that are simple and quick, we get these recipe books that include meals like "chick pea pattys & courgette enchiladas" between cooking all these random meals and shift work, it's killing us.
Has anyone got any recommendations of everyday meals that are quick and simple whilst a DD is screaming at me from the baby gate.

Just give her whatever you cook for yourself. Make sure you don't add salt or anything containing salt and you're good to go. If you eat later than her, cook extra so she can have it the next day and freeze some for a future lunch.

I have a 1 year old too, often lunch is just random stuff from the fridge. Pasta, rice, cous cous or bits and pieces. Just try to get 2 veg, protein and carb. Try to chuck a herb or spice to keep it interesting for them.

Basic meal examples- pasta with cream cheese, grated courgette, peas and leftover roast chicken or salmon. Meatballs, oven veg and cous cous. Aubergine veggie cheese bake.

I always try to freeze extras of risotto or stews etc. And occasionally batch cook bechamel and tomato sauces, freeze them in silicone cupcake moulds- that's easy to add stuff too.

Also always got a loads of homemade meatballs in the freezer too and toddler sized chicken and salmon bits.

Its sounds faffy but its easy to just make extra when you're cooking something anyways and its so easy to grab stuff out the freezer knowing its homemade and healthy too.

Naan bread pizza (passata, grated cheese, pieces of chicken/ham/pepper/whatever is in the fridge —pop under the grill.

Green goddess pasta (spaghetti with pesto, broccoli and peas).

Tortilla (leftover potatoes fried in a small pan until crispy, any veg or meat in the fridge eg chopped up leftover sausage or bacon, onion, peppers, butternut squash pour over beaten egg top with halved cherry tomatoes. Cool on the hob until set then pop under the grill).

Jambalaya (cook rice in stock and chopped tomatoes, bit of paprika, add some veggies and cooked meat at the end).

...can you tell most of my recipies involve using up bits & bobs from the fridge?

Make a batch of basic tomato & veg sauce (no salt) and freeze in small pots. Then just cook pasta and heat up the sauce. Add grated cheese and some tuna from a can when serving.

At that stage I was batch cooking and freezing lots of different stews/curries/soups/pastas into small portions. Was so easy to grab a couple of cubes out the freezer on days I didn't have time. Another quick meal is scrambled egg/omelet with veg.

Pitta pizzas
Omelette or cheese and chive pancakes
Pasta with half a tin of sardines in tomato sauce
Ditto for tuna in tomato sauce!
I make this www.bbc.co.uk/food/recipes/microwave_egg_fried_rice_76040 with half a packet of microwave rice. Sometimes I add some ham if we’ve got any.
Jacket potato with tuna www.olivemagazine.com/recipes/family/tuna-melt-jackets/ and I add some tinned sweetcorn too.
Pesto gnocchi www.deliciousmagazine.co.uk/recipes/pesto-gnocchi-with-peas-and-pine-nuts/

My DD is 13 months and yesterday she had a potato waffle, fish fingers and peas for lunch, for dinner she had homemade vegetable soup and a flat bread.

On Sunday she had a roast chicken dinner (same as me and DH)

Last week I made cheese twists from the what mummy makes book and she had 2 with salad for lunch. I've frozen the rest as you can just pop them in the oven for 15 mins.
I also made the cornflake chicken dippers from that book with sweet potato wedges and beans for all 3 of us, and they were really good!

I batch make a roasted tomato sauce (left over tomatoes, peppers, grated carrot & onion) and freeze that into portions for her to have with pasta or I add a little stock or yoghurt to make it a tomato soup.

I've found a lot of the recipes make a good batch size so I'm doing this once or twice a week with new things so we have a go to in the freezer and she doesn't just get landed with a cheese and ham sandwich! (Which she does love!)

Have you tried the BLW Cookbook? It's got sone recipes that you might all enjoy.

At that age my DD like things like fish pie, roast dinners, and spag bol.

Can DD not eat with you? My one year old eats with us and I often keep her a portion back to warm up for the next day's lunch to save even more time.

I am quite a lazy cook so do quite simple/plain meals.
An average day would look like
Breakfast- egg and banana pancakes
Lunch- Toast, cheese cubes, cherry tomatoes, avocado & a satsuma
Dinner- meat or fish (in small pieces so she can pick up herself), homemade chips, broccoli and peas.
