Help - My dd won't eat or drink her milk

My dd is 9mths old, and for the past 10 days has been refusing to take her milk ( she'll drink approx 7oz a day), and she won't take much food. I've been giving her a bit of finger food, and spoon feeding, but she'll only take 1 or 2 mouthfulls and mabye munch a piece of broccolli. I'm at my wits end, and really have no idea what to do - help.

How is she in herself? I too wouldbe a tad fretful if it lasted this long.
Is she poorly atm? Will she take any other fluids?
Do you have a sympathetic DR you could chat with. Unless your HV is good I wouldn't ask for advice from there!

She's ok in herself, she's not napping too well, but she is drinking plenty of water. She's a bit more moany, and crying a fair bit. DR is rubbish, so will try HV today. No luck with breakfast today - 3 spoonfuls.

oh dear, what do you think might have changed? it couldn't be something as daft as new dishwasher tabs, could it? or a new brand of milk? good luck with the HV, saljam.

HV was no help, so today i'm going back to basics. Checked out the BLW blog, and we're starting again, I'm just going to persevere with the milk, and let dd figure her own way out with the food situation. She's been a bit sick today (I smell now), so water and BLW foods are the order of the day - fingers crossed she eats more than one mouthful.

if she's being sick, it couldn't be something reflux-y, could it? it is something i don't know about At All but i imagine that a dose of heartburn would put you off your milk. i remember when dd was sick the doc told be to half-strength her formula, although i can understand that you might be reluctant to try that given the situation. there's no chance it's just that this tub of powder has something funny about it, is there? or do you think she's just coming down with something? dd loses her appetite completely when that's the case.

have you tried pasta, pesto and peas or spag bol with her (assuming it's not heartburn), lord knows they're my never-fail recipes.

Thank you AitchTwoOh, I'll try the pesto pea and pasta for her supper, sounds good, and the half strength formula sound like a good idea, at least she'll get some more fluid inside her if she drinks it.
