Would you serve it to an eight-month-old 'raw' or toasted?

either, but it's nicer warm isn't it

MamaG · 15/10/2007 08:41

you could warm it in the microwave, so its still soft

heifer · 15/10/2007 08:42

I would put it in the toaster for about 30 seconds, that way it is warm but still soft..

(well that is what I do for DD 3.10)

TwigorTreat · 15/10/2007 08:44

wouldn't microwave it as it becomes really difficult to chew when 'soft' like that

I used to give it cold .. I only toast under duress .. purely because if you give it cold by the time they're 2 they can go and get their own

heifer · 15/10/2007 08:46

like the name twigg, but what happened to the other G?

Toast under duress, how mean DD can go and get her own breadsticks, but bread and pita are kept highers (she would eat them all day long)...

MegBusset · 15/10/2007 08:54

Thanks, I can't let it go too soft because ideally I will dip it into my lovingly prepped veg purees that DS is now refusing to eat from a spoon

i wet it a little and then toast it, so that it toasts but stays soft as well. or i do it from frozen.
