Looking for help with weaning!

DD is coming up to 6 months and she has been showing signs of being ready for weaning so we have started letting her play with some banana and/or self feeding porridge - she pretty much doesn't eat any of it but she enjoys playing with it.

I'm wondering if anyone can help me with weaning ideas (times AND weaning ideas for BLW). Her current routine is:

7am-7:30am: 7oz formula
9am-10am: nap
10:30am: 7oz formula
11:15am: highchair/banana playing time
12pm-2pm: nap
2:30pm: 7oz formula
4pm-5pm: nap
6pm: 7oz formula
7pm: bed time

All times are rough guides, she sleeps well at night but her naps are iffy but never more than the above and she doesn't always drink the full 7oz (she only went up to all 7oz bottles last week)

Any guidance would be much appreciated! DS is 8 so it's been ages and I did spoon weaning with him so BLW is also new territory!

I started solids at the midday feed first after giving half a milk feed.
Start with single-ingredient foods for the first few weeks so you’ll be able to pinpoint any food allergies. So if you want your LO to be able to have some of what you’re having and you don’t want to cook anything extra, I suggest you and your OH have meat-and-two-veg type meals for a few weeks. E.g. salmon and new potatoes, and you can just give your Lo some salmon flakes and chunks of new potato.
Once your baby has tried and tolerated several single-ingredient foods, you can begin offering mixed dishes.
By around 9 months she could probably be eating whatever you’re having and enjoying three meals a day.
Once your Dd is having three meals a day, she’ll probably be ready to drop a bottle. For my dc, it was around seven to nine months, although it varies from child to child. I know lots of people tend to drop the midday feed first, as it’s easily replaced by a good lunch.
Once she’s eating a decent amount at lunchtime, offer her solids before her milk feed. You’ll know when she’s ready to drop the feed, as she’ll start to take less of it, or not want it at all.
Right now, get her used to the high chair. I used to sit mine it it in while I was cooking.

If your song blw then just offer her food when she is awake and your eating. Some
days at the start she may have food once a day and other days she will have it twice a day at the start. Generally food should be 30 to 60 mins after milk.

I started weaning my DS two weeks ago. I’ve just been giving him some solids after his second nap (late lunchtime) as he’s then well rested and had a bottle about 90 minutes prior.
This week i think he’s taken a wee growth spurt so we have added a wee bit of porridge about 45 mins after his first bottle.
He keeps trying to grab the spoon off me so the purées are out the window and he gets finger foods. I don’t think he’s actually eating much but he is definitely enjoying it

I did BLW with dd1 and will do the same with dd2. I have always just given food when we are eating as I can't cope with separate mealtimes. I just give a few bits from what we are eating at lunch and dinner times. With usually porridge for breakfast. Made really thickly and cut into fingers. I take the easiest way!!! I do feel that weaning can be overly complicated - I understand why, but there is definitely a low effort way

7am 7oz bottle
8.30am breakfast, toast and some porridge
10am-12pm nap
1.30pm 6oz bottle he'll also have a suck a sandwich/crumpet/bagel
2-4pm nap
4.30pm bottle of milk (between 5 and 7oz)
5pm dinner, whatever we're having mashed up and some bits of veg he can chomp on
6.30pm 7oz bottle
7pm bedtime
At sometime overnight most nights he will wake for another bottle
