Im looking for some ideas on what to give my almost 7 month old for breakfast/lunch? I can't seem to think of much Confused
been giving her porridge with fruit puree for breakfast and toast for lunch.

I'll be making cottage pie and spaghetti Bolognese next week so I'll portion some up for her but o genuinely can't remember what I was offering my toddler at this age 😂

(I'm still nervous about doing proper blw with her for some reason)

What do you have?

I did porridge/weetabix with berries for breakfast and things like scrambled eggs with veg, omelete etc for lunch...DS is 8 months now and I'm starting to give him 'pizza' muffins or toast, cheesy pasta etc.

For breakfast my HV suggested the original flavour oats so simple sachet (don't get the flavoured ones as they are high in sugar). You can add mashed banana or fruit purée to add flavour. Make a bowl for yourself and baby can have some from your bowl.

You can also make normal porridge but I hate having to clean the pan and I always burn the milk!

Some good ideas here, thanks :)

Smooth nut better on toast.

A banana. You can split it from the top into 3 long segments which makes it easier for them to grasp.

Scrambled egg with quartered cherry tomatoes.

Sardines on toast. Boys should be getting oily fish 2 to 3 times a week, girls once or twice.

Crumpet and butter.

Porridge fingers.

For lunch you could try a smashed avocado on toast.

Chicken pasta

Cheesy Pitta Fingers

Fishcakes or

Savoury Muffins.

Or just a bit of what you're having?
