11 month old stopped eating home cooked food

Looking to see if anyone else has had this problem with their LO’s.
I have been following baby led weaning and up until now my DS has been a great eater. However in the last few weeks he’s stopped eating the home cooked meals I offer him. He’ll have a taste then everything ends up in the floor, but if I offer him a shop bought baby meal he’ll devour it!
I’m really stuck as I don’t know what else I can offer him and I don’t understand what is so different with the shop bought baby meals, feel like giving up cooking for him.

@Fo220879z Stop buying industrial baby food and persevere with your food.
Ultra processed food is made to be extremely and artificially palatable.
You don't specify what you feed him nor what you buy.
Is the shop bought a pouch? These very often have a very high sugar content. Is it a food that doesn't exist in nature and needs a lab to be created? Baby puffs or similar?

Tell us what you cook and buy and we might give you suggestions.

I only buy the shop bought meals very occasionally and they have been ella’s Kitchen meals.....veggie moussaka and paella. I checked the ingredients list and there’s no added sugar and no fruit etc for it to even be high in natural sugars.
The meals I prepare are all made from scratch....cottage pie, fish pie, stir fry, lentil dhal....so quite varied.

Industrial baby food has a very bland taste. There is very little salt, a fair amount of liquid (where or milk) and because it is pasteurised to give it a long shelf life, it kills most flavour.
I would 100% persevere with home made but maybe adapt meals and recipes to a young palate that is still learning. Maybe your dish are too strong. Go for a risotto with just stock/nutter/parmesan, a piece of chicken breast cooked with onion and carrots and roughly chopped or water down yours. Prepare a big pot of broth (4 or 5 carrots, 2 zucchini, 1 onion, 1 leek, 3 celery stalks, 4 very ripe tomatoes cut in half. cover with water and let simmer for 2 or 3 hours. Discard the veggies, except carrots and place broth in ice cube tray to use when you need to add liquid or even cook baby pasta or risotto) .

Try to avoid anything but water in the 2 hours prior lunch/dinner (no milk, juice, cracker, grapes, ....)
