Blending food for baby

My little one is nine months old and now attending nursery full time. He's still on pureed food (he was a premature baby, a little behind when it comes to chewing/swallowing etc) but at nursery he's been trying so many new flavors compare to what I was offering at home.
Now I would love to start blending some of our food to give to him, like pasta for example. But I am not sure about the salt content of it.
My understanding is that the whole point is less fuff and cook only one dinner. But if I have to boil the pasta in another pot, check what ingredients I put in the sauce etc that makes it almost as difficult as doing something just for him.

How did you do that? Is 9 months ok to start being a little more relaxed about it (and by that I mean literally the salt I can't avoid, I wouldn't put salt on his food or give them chips)?

I always salt my food at the end, or only when it's on the plate.

Just don't add salt. If you use natural ingredients there won't be any salt in the dish at all. Babies are allowed some salt, e.g. in bread, but don't add it.

Just don't add salt and use low salt stock cubes if you use them. We use the Kallo veggie ones.

I very rarely make a seperate meal for my 9mo anymore, I just blend what we're having. I add salt or chilli after I've taken out his portion. Don't salt your pasta water, then there's no need to do a separate pot.

We had tuna pasta bake from the pinch of nom book for dinner tonight. I used a low salt stock cube (which I would have done anyway), tuna in spring water rather than brine and didn't cook the pasta with salt in the water. When I portioned it all up, I split it into thirds. Ours went in the oven, his got purreed with the leftover portions being put in the freezer. (He didn't like it, which is rare).

Most ingredients are fine, it's just salt and honey you have to watch out for. Plus I'm not brave enough to give him large amounts of chilli yet, we're working up to it.
