Tinned foods for weaning?

Can things like tinned fruit etc be blended up for introducing flavours to a 6 month old?

I'm thinking things like pineapple maybe peaches etc and tinned vegetables? Most things I'm planning on cooking and blending fresh foods but there's a few things we don't use/have in the house so it wouldn't get eaten if I bought fresh but was thinking I could get a little tin of it just to introduce the tastes to DD. Is this ok or does it need to be fresh? I know some of them are tinned in syrups etc so will be looking to avoid that.

Babies can have anything you have, just be aware of salt content, choking hazards (whole nuts, grapes, blueberries etc) and honey. Keep an eye on sugar levels as well.

Yes they’re fine. Tinned beans and lentils are also great for adding to veg purées and I used to give mine butter beans as first finger foods.
I also used a lot of tinned fish. Tinned tuna in spring water is suitable from 6 months.
