Just wondering if this seems right for my DS, he will be one at the end of this month

7-7.30. 9oz Bottle
Lately he only takes about 7oz

8-8.30. Breakfast (porridge, muesli,
Weetabix, toast and fruit)
With water

10.30. Snack (yoghurt, fruit, rice cakes)

12-1. Lunch (soup, boiled eggs, baked
Potato with beans or tuna, pasta,
Cauliflower cheese, sandwich)

2.30-3. Offered bottle (usually refuses)
Probably going to drop this now

5pm dinner. Usually a smaller version of the
Family meal such as shepherds
Pie, fish and veggies, spaghetti
Bologna's, casseroles or roast

7.30-8. 9oz bottle and bed

I suppose I'm just looking for clarification on taking out the afternoon bottle

From age 1 they only need around 12oz (350ml) of milk per day

I've already started slowly swapping the formula for cows milk, for instance his 9oz morning bottle is usually 5oz formula and the rest full fat cows milk (under advisement from health visitor)

I think I'm gonna drop the afternoon bottle completely and maybe just offer a smaller morning bottle, I'll leave the bedtime one as is for now as he really do enjoy his bedtime bottle as part of his routine, he has a bath and then enjoys being read too while having his bottle and a cuddle

My 11mo has a very similar schedule and refuses the afternoon bottle about 50% of the time. I expect it will be gone by the time he's 1

Ive not bothered giving him the afternoon bottle since Monday and I've just given him another snacks around 2.30-3pm and he seems fine with that
