Fruit question?

I’m finding it difficult to get fruit into DD she’s currently 8 months & she only seems interested in banana & strawberries I’m thinking its because they are softer so they are easier to chew. I’ve offered various other fruits but she won’t even acknowledge them I’m wondering if it’s because they are quite hard?
Anyhow has anyone got any tips or advice on how you serve fruit to your babies? She has no teeth yet so wondering if this makes a difference but wouldn’t of thought so.

Just keep offering. If she has no teeth yet, yes, many fruits may still be too hard. But keep trying with softer ones you find. Ripe pears are good, plums or apricots with the stone removed, satsumas, mango, you could try some baked fruits like baked apples. But she'll catch on eventually.

I used to buy packets of frozen mango chunks. When they thawed, the mango was really quite soft and it saved me peeling and cutting it off the stone.
Tinned fruits are also handy. They’re usually softer after having been soaked in the juice and it saves peeling.
Kiwi, avocado and satsumas were also popular in my house.

Thank you, she struggles to hold things like mango they keep slipping out of her hand. Same for the fruit in juice.
Going to give, pears & satsumas a try again this weekend.

Just keep serving different ones up, she'll broaden her range eventually.
My youngest only had one tooth until he was 18 months but managed to chomp his way through apples, core and all if I wasn't quick enough.

I wouldn't worry too much about this tbh assuming she is eating a good range of veg? More important than fruit and she is eating some fruit - not like she's not eating any. Yy to avocado- nice and soft...how about tomato?

If soft is good, try more berries raspberries are a particularly big hit!
