Cooking spray for baby

I use low fat cooking spray when cooking meals- is that okay to also cook my baby’s food in?

The answer is read the label at the back.

Low fat spray are usually oil watered down with water and as of course water and oil don't mix, you need to add chemicals. Do you want to give that to your baby? Or worse, some cooking spray cans have propellants, usually butane, propane or isobutane or a combination of these.
Again the same question. do you want that in the baby's food or yours?
Can't you use a piece of butter for the fish or meat?

You shouldn’t really give a baby low fat anything x

The amount of spray that will transfer to the food is so minimal I wouldn’t even think twice about it.

I would use butter or regular oil if I was cooking something specifically for my dc but would be perfectly happy for them to have something I'd made for us all with it in.

If youre worried, get a spray bottle and fill with your usual oil
