Swapped from formula to cows milk and now baby isn't eating any solids

I've just swapped from formula to cows milk as my baby just turned 12 months

For almost three weeks however, he's been unwell with a cold, teething etc and generally miserable

During that time he has completely stopped eating other than a few mouthfuls of yoghurt or whatever that I can convince him to eat

I was convinced he's stopped eating just as he's been poorly, but now I'm wondering if it could be anything to do with switching to cows milk?

He doesn't seem to have had any adverse reaction to milk tho as his poo is normal. But I did switch straight over pretty much rather than gradually

I can’t imagine it’s a reaction to the milk, after all formula is made from cow’s milk.

Does he still have a cold and is he still teething? It might be worth giving him a dose of Ibruprofen about half an hour before dinner and applying a teething gel just before he eats.

He’s probably just off colour. Formula is essentially milk with added nutrition so it’s unlikely to be that. He may just feel rubbish.

Mine always go off everything for at least a week or two after they have been poorly. So if it’s been 2-3 weeks of sickness, even once it passes, I would expect a few more weeks of eating being off before it’s back to normal.

Thank you for your replies, much appreciated as I feel reassured it's just his cold that's causing the lack of eating
