Where can I buy a Mouli?

Anyone used the Annabel Karmel Mouli?

That's the only one I can find but it looks very flimsy - is it ok?

I would prefer a more sturdy one for doing mashed potato for us also...! Any suggestions welcome!

A hardware store. Lakeland?

We have one that I got in an independent cookshop. Never seen the AK one.

Lakeland must do one...

does anyone use their mouli? I have a potato ricer from Lakeland.

I got one from an independent hardware/cookshop. They had 3 varying from £6.99 to £16.99 in price. I only use it for things with skins (e.g peas and sweetcorn) that are a faff to push though a sieve. I have a hand blender for most things. I think I would use a potato ricer rather than a mouli for potato.

I had an annabel Karmel mouli. I know what you mean about it looking flimsy, but for the price it was absolutely fantastic and I would def recommend it. It was very easy to take places as well, so could go to restaurants with friends and be a social beaver and take dd and mouli some food for her. Used it so much never used jar'd food.

a mouli is a big white radish

if you must give your baby mush (which you don't really need to if you wait till the prescribed 6 month weaning thing you can just do baby lead weaning and just mush up stuff that mushes with a fork like banana and avocado) then a Braun hand-held thing is fair enough

also you can't mash potatoes with one, unless I'm very much mistaken, you need a masher for the right texture .. unless I really don't understand what a 'mouli' is and its more like a ricer than a blender
