Hi everyone,

My lo is 8 months old joe and is enjoyIng everything that she eats, when at home she normally has a small portion of when we are having or we make someth for her. when we’re out and about for quickness she may have an Ella’s kitchen pouch of cow &gate jar.
Has anyone tried the asda little angels pouches for their LO? Just like to give her variety but wasn’t sure how good they are.

Thanks Smile

Could you look up the ingredients? I’ve not trie£ them but one thing to look out for with prepared baby food is that many have high water content and low protein content so generally aren’t very nutritious.

Not got my judgey pants on though, the eldest was mainly fed on jars Smile

No idea about the Asda pouches, but I’ve always found that the easiest things to do when out is continue to just offer a bit of what you’re having. Unless you’re having a super spicy chilli or curry, everything pretty much is suitable in moderation. I’d just pull a bit off my plate and put it on their high chair tray along with some bits I’d pack from home like cucumber sticks, strawberries, etc. It’s also cheaper that way.

Looking at the Spaghetti Bol one it’s about a fifth carrots and a fifth water but it does have 10% beef. Some premade baby foods can have as little as 6% protein.

When we were out, I usually did what mind suggests Smile

Thanks for help

I’ll do what mind suggested too

Have you seen the little pouches you can get to make your own and fill up?
Something like Doddlebags are great because they are the same as Ella's but refillable, reusable, washable and freezable.
