9 month DD always has been difficult feeder...I think she hates milk as will drink water quite happily! DD is on high calorie milk infatrini to try to ensure she gets enough calories. Problem is Dd also isn't keen on her spoon feeds. Since going to nursery DD improved slightly but since starting nursery DD has litterally gone from one cold to another with barely 2-3 days in between. In between colds she fed quite well but when she had the cold she took next to nothing. I'm stressed out as I'm worried if she'll ever stop getting every bug going at nursery!! ALso as DD won't ever take much food anyway she gets quite constipated and that just makes things worse. Feel like such a bad mother as have has to resort to jars to feed LO as she just won't touch home cooked stuff and I tried BLW but Dd showed no interestand just chucked food on the floor without even trying it! DD is on 25th centtile so is on the smaller side but has boundless energy and developing normally. Has anyone else had this problem with nursery and constant colds etc and has anyone else got a LO with a small appetite who just doesn't seem to be that interested in food? ...if so when did they start actually looking for food and enjoying it!

Yes and yes. Actually DS used to be brilliant at eating, but since he started nursery one day a week he's come down with everything under the sun. I don't know if it's related but he's become much more fussy with his food as well. He used to really enjoy eating things like broccoli himself. Now it just gets chucked on the floor and spoon feeding is a nightmare. There are a few things he will still eat easily - bread, cheese, pasta mainly. But veg is really difficult because he also spits out lumps. GRrrr.

I think it's just a phase though, and I suspect it's the same with your DD. My DS is on the 25th centile and is really active and energetic, same as your DD. So I think we should try not to worry.
