Feeding struggle

My 11 month old daughter is a big eater, however not when it's me feeding her!

My daughter goes to my mam for childcare 3 days during the week while I work, and these supper times aren't a problem, she has really good meals and eats plenty.
BUT when she's at home with me she will have her breakfast without any issues then be extremely difficult the rest of the day whilst trying to give her food, she will be hesitant and start rubbing eyes even though she isn't tired
I now just think I'm doing something wrong because I know she likes the food I'm offering even though I'm doing everything my mam does and there's no issue there

I feel like she's not getting enough when she's with me because of her just refusing to eat! Plus there is a lot of waste !

Any one else had any issues like this or any advice would be great Smile

Try not to get too upset about it. It’s best to look at what she eats over a week rather than a day. Lots of babies naturally eat much more some days than other and if you look at what she’s eaten over a week, that will take the pressure off if she’s being fussy over one meal.

If you are feeding her, I’d stop that to. Let her feed herself from now on and don’t stress about what she does or doesn’t eat. It’s your job to provide a range of healthy meals but you can’t force her to eat them. Try to remember too that a portion for her is probably the size of her palm.
