My 9 month old loves these, does anyone know if they are bad for him? (i.e. do they contain hydrogenated fats)

I think they might be quite salty.

moondog · 28/03/2007 21:45

shit food
too much salt

tinkerbellhadpiles · 28/03/2007 21:45

They have a really irritating website at www.cheestrings.co.uk/ (can't do links too tired sorry).

tortoise · 28/03/2007 21:46

Well i wont give them to any of my children. A chunk of normal cheese is much better!

tinkerbellhadpiles · 28/03/2007 21:46

Cheese is bad for mice Moondog.

But if it's the only way to get protein into your child I guess I'd just ration them.

Couldn't you train him to eat stinking bishop instead?

bananaboo · 28/03/2007 21:47

Thanks everyone, I will check out the website

eeek, the words weaning and cheese string are not words i ever thought i'd see together.

cut a block of cheese into finger shapes, less salt and cheaper

Karmamother · 28/03/2007 21:52

Step away from the cheesestrings, bananabo. Before you know it you'll be giving him Fruit Shoots & Lunchables. [shudders]

bananaboo · 28/03/2007 21:53

Think I will try to give him normal looking cheese
