I bought some for DS (8.5mths) and he loves them, but i just noticed the box says unsuitable for under 12mths.

Why? Is it because there's coconut in it perhaps?

Nowt wrong with a bit of sugar - just brush their teeth afterwards - fruit sugars are way better than refined sugars and artificial sweeteners anyway.

Obviously if that's all they eat then the immune system is in big trouble, but that's unlikely if you're going out of your way to seek out Organix stuff rather than a nice big Twix Rest of their diet will be lovely and healthy - won't it?

I should have bought shares in Organix - fab fab fab variety of snacky tasty thingies - their crisps are only 1 WW point

just to be clear, i'm not saying sugar is wrong, i'm also from the everything in moderation school of thought.

I'm just pointing out that fruit juice is sugar too and is put into products as a sweetener (and is refined to a degree when it is conc. fruit juice). My issue is the marketing that states no added sugar when said product does have sugar in, and sometimes in high amounts. Some people mistakenly think it is therefore healthy and eat shedloads as a consequence which then isnt healthy IYSWIM.

Agree massively re sugar vs artifical sweeteners (also margarine v butter)!!

I'm 9.5 weeks pregnant and currently getting a large proportion of my sugar intake in the form of creme eggs ...and not even at a moderate level so am defo not telling anyone to be anti sugar!!!!
