Sorry if that is spelt wrong!

I'm making a real mess of weaning my son, who is 7 months old. I do a mix of purees and finger foods - like toast and baby biscuits.

Now... I have made spag bol for tea and can I puree this and try it with him?

I am rubbish and I am doing this weaning thing so wrong!

Any help greatly recieved.

if it isn't salted, I wouldn't puree it. Just mix it up and let him loose with his fingers.

I'm not a fanatic of BLW either, but pureeing at 7 months isn't at all necessary.

if he's having real trouble with the lumps, you could stick it in a food mixer for a few whizzes just to get out the bigger bits.

Yes, or mash it wiith a fork if you can't be bothered to get the blender dirty

Cool thanks!

Need to get a routine (a loose as a routine can be) set up for him.

Oh and its not salted. I am paranoid about salt overdose and hurtung him...am convinced the social services are waiting round the corner at all times to tell me i am a bad mum!

Sounds like you are a good mum! I remember feeding DS1 got so much easier once he was eating the same sorts of things as us, veg, fruit and protein. I even put Xmas dinner in our mixer to freeze in cubes... Looked lovely...

Agree with colditz - just give it as is (as long as not salted)
