Cheese and sickness

Ds seems to be sick whenever he's had cheese or yoghurt (took me a while to work out which foods linked to the sickness) but is fine on formula so I guess he can't be lactose intolerant. Anyone else found this? Annoyingly he isn't sick if I give him food from a jar with cheese in it. I wonder if he would be ok on very mild cheese??

how old is he?
do you know how he reacts to regular cows' milk?

Re mild cheese, there's only one way to find out, but I reckon it'd be the same as any other type.
There are proteins and things in normal milk/cheese/yoghurt that don't make it through the heating / sterilising / drying process into formula or jar food, so it might be one of these he's reacting to.

TBH I'd be tempted to avoid dairy for a bit and come back to it later.

I've poached his fish in cow's milk and added a little to the sauce and that seems to be ok. He's 7 months btw. I reckon I'll leave it altogether for a while. Such a shame as I've made tonnes of delicious stuff with cheesey sauces for him!

I've used ds' unwanted purees as pasta sauce for dp before!

He's never noticed the difference

What a good idea! Have just been forcing haddock in cheese sauce on unsuspecting babymates instead.
