I don't know what Im supposed to do about feeding baby when we're out and about she's only been weaning a couple of weeks and eats puréed veg for lunch.
We're generally out at group etc in the week so we get back at 1 and I'll defrost and cook her veg but think I need to take it out with me so she eats before 2.

Anyway do I take out Ella's kitchen prepared food Etc or cook her some veg before we go and give her that cold?
What do you all do?!

DD will eat most things hot or cold, always has.

Pre packed stuff is perhaps about more convenient.

Either's fine, if you have lots of pots in the freezer then defrost and use one of those (much cheaper). If you don't want to give it to her cold you can take a little flask of hot water and warm the pouch/pot by floating it in some of that.

We're 6 weeks in and I had absolutely no idea where to begin! I've picked up my tips from watching other mums at group/on here.

I used to mash up a banana with a little milk for DS. You can mash it to any consistency (even proper purée if you add some milk) and it stays fresh in its packaging until you need it. Portable and convenient, and you can share it!

I was never keen on giving it cold so I got a Tommie Tippie themos / bottle warmer and put boiling water in it. Then I just poured the water into the lid and sat the pouch in it for 5 minutes or so.

If you have some in freezer I'd just use those. Can warm as other suggested or give cool. Ellas pouches could be given warm or cold too but more expensive and if baby is used to your homecooked things then seems logical to keep going.
