I don't know what Im supposed to do about feeding baby when we're out and about she's only been weaning a couple of weeks and eats puréed veg for lunch.
We're generally out at group etc in the week so we get back at 1 and I'll defrost and cook her veg but think I need to take it out with me so she eats before 2.

Anyway do I take out Ella's kitchen prepared food Etc or cook her some veg before we go and give her that cold?
What do you all do?!

Either of those things is fine but maybe the food you prepare yourself is more healthy (I have no idea what Ella stuff is like). I used to ask cafes for half an avocado mashed up for DS if I was out longer than expected and we needed to eat. Does she get very hungry?

How old is your baby? Mine were sort of baby led weaned so I just took a packed lunch - small sandwiches, rice cakes, cheese, breadsticks and fruit.

Bringing out a small bowl, fork and half am avocado or banana to mash up is a good 'on the go' meal if you're out and about.

Pouches are IMO an expensive way of feeding a baby full time, but are definitely very handy for when you're out....if your baby will eat them! It always felt strange giving the savoury ones cold so I tended to use the fruit ones.

The other thing you could do is bring some baby porridge/ready brek out dry in a lidded bowl and then you can add hot water/milk/formula and some fruit purée from a pot/pouch when out. It is filling for them.

Other thing if you find yourself stuck unexpectedly, you can almost always buy a yogurt somewhere, even in a garage or small shop. That would keep them going for a bit.

I used to use either an Ella pouch or a homemade purée/mush in a breastmilk storage bag.

I would take a lidded Tupperware box, a flask of hot water and a pouch (either Ella or the bag). Put bag and hot water in box with lid on for 10 mins and voila, a hot dinner!

With all the stuff I carried round for twins anyway, a flask and box didn't seem to add much to the pile :)

Wishful how old is your baby? If LO is over six months they can have pretty much what you eat. Try offering a small sandwich and some halved grapes, or a slice of omelette or just a little of what you are eating.
