What age is this suitable to give to my daughter?

I did from the start of weaning, 7 months or so, not in brine though as I think that's a bit salty, in spring water or oil is fine as far as I know. She loves sardines too

It is fine to give from 6 months but I would limit to no more than 1 or 2 portions a week because of the level of mercury.

I can't find a link now but it is linked to the female reproductive system and having too much mercury can be a concern in young females.

There is a recommended limit of 2 portions a week of oily fish for women and girls, but only fresh tuna (not tinned) needs to be counted towards this per nhs website

I personally wouldn't give babies tuna fresh or otherwise due to the heavy metal content. I know kids love it but it really isn't that good for you. Even adults shouldn't have too much tuna.

Tinned mackeral in olive oil is very nutritious and DS loves it. Is a bit stinky though.
