The title says it all really. I want to buy one book and I'd like to know which you found the best, especially in terms of simplicity! Thanks very much.

The only BLW recipe book I've come across was The Baby Led Weaning Cookbook by Gill Rapley

I thought it was pretty good. It's also stocked in the libraries near me - maybe you could check to see if your local library have it, and then you can check it out before deciding whether to buy your own copy?

The BLW cookbook is nice, but honestly the whole point of BLW is that you all eat the same thing! Most recipes can be adapted to make them easy for babies to eat too. Just keep an eye on salt and add some chunky steamed veg on the side.

We had today the Leon Moroccan lamb meatballs with roasted veggie couscous, I just cooled down the meatballs a bit more than usual and mixed the couscous with the tomato sauce to make it a bit more clumpy. DD ate the couscous with preloaded spoons, and gnawed away at the meatballs whole. I was ready to add a bit of plain yoghurt to the sauce but she liked it spicer apparently!

Thanks purple that book looks like it has some good ideas to offer.
Pourq - Was the lamb from the same book?

The River Cottage Baby and Toddler book is great. The recipes are divided into seasons and are really tasty for adults and variations are given for toddlers/babies if necessary. I've made the pesto and the banana and sultana cake in the last week and both were very well received!

I like Jamie's Ministry of food if you're looking for a good, simple, wholesome cookbook.

The Nosh families book is really good.

Thanks for all the other book recommendations, I'll check them out. I like the sound of ones that have variations for toddlers and babies. I already have Faye's Family Food which does something similar so I'll probably get on well with them. I already have the Jamie book - great minds eh?

Seriously yummy.

HFW River Cottage Veg Everyday is great too.

Lots of recipes on the BLW site but really, the point is that you're not cooking separate meals or different meals for your child - you all just share the same meal.
