Hello. I am not a mum or dad but a doting grandma who is helping my mil to look after my dgs more or less ft. He is 7 and a half months old, started weaning at 5 and a half months and he will eat any amount of food. He weighs about 22 lb and acc to HV is fine. Using A Karmel more or less, and he now has 3 bottles of forumula a day, breakfast, mid afternoon and last thing at night. We are worried we are giving him too much food. Typical day is: breakfast, 1 weetabix and 2/3 cubes fruit puree, lunch 8 cubes chicken casserole/veg, 1 whole Rachel's yoghurt, rice cake, tea, 5 cubes broccoli gratin, whole banana, rice cakes/farley's rusk. He is doing up to 5 dirty nappies a day (normal). Can we overfeed him or should we let his appetite dictate quantities. Any advice welcome or info on amounts other babies eat. btw I am not an interfering mil (I hope) - dil asked me to post this as she is up to her eyes atm. (smile)
