DD is almost six months. We began weaning at five months. She was having a "lunch" everyday, seemed to be really enjoying it.
She has recently started at the childminders, I sent breakfast as well because it needs milk adding and it's a way of getting milk into her. Now she'll happily eat breakfast, but wont eat lunch. I tried to give her something for tea so she'd had brekkie and tea, but not interested.
What should I do? Continue with breakfasts for a while but leave lunch/tea and introduce in a month or so?

At this age, they don't really need much more than milk, but I wonder if giving the same breakfast every day would limit what she's prepared to eat later?

I would try and get various types of fruit and veg down her if poss - getting a variety of tastes is more important than quantity though - a spoonful or two is fine.

She is v tiny to be having 3 meals a day though atm.

To be honest, i wouldnt stress too much about it. Go with the flow and let her guide you. Offer her the meals you already have been at usual times but if she refuses, just leave it be.

They do this from time to time. Its normal to go off meals here and there.

Thanks!
I started sending breakfasts only because I knew it was mixed with 1 oz milk so at least I knew she was getting some (she will only drink about 10oz while I'm away).
Personally I'd prefer her to have a lunch or tea, because it's a lot healthier, plus all my home-made foods I froze are going to waste, sob sob!

As long as she is having all the milk she needs then there is no need to worry about the healthy meals - the milk has all the relevant nutrients up to one year old so food is much less important for nutrition until then approx.

I know what you mean about food going to waste though. Its very frustrating.

i know milk is the most important 'food' for them before 1 but if they only will have 20ozs a ay how much food is 'enough' to compensate for reduced milk intake? my dd is 7.5 months and barely will have 2 meals and a yogurt plus 20ozs...can't help thinking its not enough?

The best way to know is if they are gaining weight steadily and thriving etc. This applies very much to b/fed babies since you cannot guage how much milk they are having.

HTH.
