1yo not eating

DD has just turned one. She eats what she likes really well but point blank refuses anything new. She seems to be a carb junkie despite the fact I am constantly giving her new veg, fruit, shephards pies etc and trying to introduce more.

The problem is the only things she will eat are:

Weetabix with milk
Toast with butter (no jam etc)
Bread (no fillings- have tried most!)
Chips (wont eat mashed/baked etc sigh)
Organic crisps
Breadsticks
Crispbreads
Cheese when she feels like it
Sweetcorn/peas
Blueberrys/ pomegranate (won't eat apple/banana/pear)

She will not touch pasta and will never eat any premade Ella's kitchens etc. I have always given her very varied meals but she just won't eat them.

She also won't drink water I've tried it from her avent bottle and every cup/beaker under the sun she only ever wants it from my glass which I give her but even then she takes a mouthful and spit it out!

She is allergic to strawberrys and tomatoes and badly allergic to nuts and eggs

My question is- shall I keep offering her what she likes or keep trying to introduce more. I just don't know what to do!!!

It sounds like you're doing really well.
You are offering her a variety of foods, some of which she accepts and some of which she doesn't.
At the age of 12 months that's pretty normal.
Her range of food will increase, but these things take time.

Is she still breastfeeding or drinking formula?
If so, the chances are that she's still getting a lot of her nutrition from that.
From personal experience, I found that my DC's appetites really increased when they stopped BFing at 13 and 14 months. Until then, they didn't really eat much or very enthusiastically.

As long as your DD is growing and is healthy you should try not to worry too much.

I have a fussy ds too - I usually include one thing in each meal that I know he will eat (even if it is just banana/yoghurt for pudding) but otherwise just serve normal meals and don't make a fuss of his eating.

If it's something he likes he'll eat loads, if it isn't then he will seemingly live on air. I give him a multivitamin too.

Lots of milk, supplemented with fruit, veg and some carbs sounds fine for a 12 month old to me.
