Do things change again for 2 year olds?

Hello all! I was wondering if any of you are reading weaning books at the moment and if so could you have a flick through and see if they reccommend changing food stuffs after 2 years old.

I vaguely remember something about giving them wholemeal carbs and maybe even semi skimmed milk. I got the books out of the library when I weaned DD and don't really want to have to read them all again when it is only a vague memory that they said something relevant to 2 year olds!

Thank you very much.

The only thing that springs to mind is that healthy thriving 2 years olds can swap to semi skimmed milk. Skimmed milk from 5 years if you want.

Otherwise, just normal food. Mine have had granary or wholemeal breads etc for ages

you can choose to give semi-skimmed milk from the age of 2. A mix of white and wholegrain foods are fine and it isnt recommended to give a fully wholegrain diet to children under the age of 5.

You can swap to semi-skimmed if you want but you don't have too. Both of mine (8 & 4) drink whole milk and so do I Smile.
