if under 12 months I really wouldn't, as the tomato ketchup will be quite salty. why not just put some tomato puree in instead?

WigWamBam · 27/01/2006 17:51

Or take her serving out before you put the sauce in for you. I wouldn't give it under 12 months either.

LIZS · 27/01/2006 17:52

Use tomato puree instead ?

HRHQueenOfQuelNoel · 27/01/2006 17:53

I would - but then I'm not one for following the rules and guidelines on these things.

So I'd go with what the others say

jessicaandrebeccasmummy · 27/01/2006 17:55

i cant see the problem to be honest.... if one dollop in a huge stir fry is something to worry about - how did Jess end up ok?

I dont think that the portion dd will end up eating will make too much difference. Minority obviously

starlover · 27/01/2006 18:01

think it'll be ok... one dollop in the entire stir fry isn't much at all

NotQuiteCockney · 27/01/2006 18:13

How old is she?

If she's over 9 months, and if it's just a tiny bit, it's probably ok. (I'm thinking a tablespoon or two.) Tomato puree probably better, for her and you.

Get the low salt low sugar ketchup from sainsbury's. Or try Passata (sieved tomatoes).
