How much solid for (very hungry) 24 weeker?

I know 26 weeks is the recommendation but I started, very slowly at 20 weeks, with HV blessing. So far limited to gluten fee baby porridge and veg/fruit purees. But even with two small feeds a day, plus formula top ups baby is still hungry. Last night she bf literally ALL night. It was like having a new born - or worse.

I have finally got her to sleep tonight by giving her a large (for baby) meal this afternoon and another bottle before bed.

I don't really want to be giving her yet more formula, but bf doesn't seem to satisfy her.

So how many solids can I give her?

ps. She was 10lb at birth and has been mixed fed from week1 due to excessive weight loss.

You dont get much advice on here unless you're BLW!
I started weaning ds at 17 weeks with health visitors blessing. I dont think there is very many guidelines on what they have as every baby is different!
My Ds is 6months and has half a weetabix or a rusk and a kids size banana for breakfast with milk, for lunch 3/4 ice cube portions of some form of veg. For dinner he has another two or three cubes, two of veg one of protein such as lentils then either heinz baby pasta or a couple or teaspoons of brown rice. I then bf him on demmand inbetween.
Does she have much protein? Thats what keeps them full! if you want to give her more then do it! Its what you feel is right!

Thanks - at least you replied!

(tbh - I am not even sure what baby led weaning means. Mine seems to want to eat everything in sight. Does that count?)

It is useful to know what another hungry baby is eating. I haven't really given her much protein yet - trying to stick to the guidelines!. I bet it makes a difference when I do.
