She really has a HUGE appetite. A normal day looks like this:

Early Morning: Breast feed (soon to be stopped and replaced with beaker of milk)
Breakfast: 2- 3 weetabix Shock
Midmorning: philadelphia sandwich (was told to makes sure she is getting lots of calcium since dropping breast feeds, as won't take a bottle)
Lunch: Rice and Vegetables, followed by yoghurt and maybe some fruit
Midafternoon: Piece of fruit and beaker of milk (she won't drink much of the milk)
Dinner: spaghetti Bolognese (big portion!), followed by yoghurt/fruit
Bedtime: Breast feed (soon to be replaced by beaker of warm milk)

Does this look like a lot? she is a big baby, and her dad is very tall and she is clearly taking after him in terms of her height, but it seems like a lot. Is it true you can't really overfeed? I don't give her sugary snacks and I will make sure not to start doing this. I think her only unhealthy part of the day is the philadelphia sandwich, but she loves it and it is a good way to get her calcium.

Thanks!

I suppose only you can judge that - you see whether she is overweight or not. FWIW I didn't offer snacks between meals once they were at this sort of stage, but did offer BFs in lieu of snacks and at the start and finish of the day (and sometimes at night). Also, make sure you offering natural/greek yoghurt if poss., as the "children's" brands are pretty high in sugar. I would stew fruit and mix it in, as I felt it was a healthier option. I would only have offered one a day max., and perhaps with yog., milk on the cereal, and breastfeeds, you don't need to be offering loads of phili as a snack. How about marmite, or a bit of phili on an oatcake (less gluten than bread, arguably better for younger guts). Other than that, sounds like a good diet, and around a year she'll be starting to cruise and walk, so soon be needing lots of energy to burn. HTH.

Bloody hell, that's more than I eat!!! Shock (obviously I've given up breastfeeding though!) Grin

All looks like healthy food though. Is she following the weight centiles ok? If so I guess she's just got a big appetite. So your next 18-odd years of supermarket bills are going to be expensive!
