Can babies drink oatmilk/similar and get enough esential nutrients?

I have a 1year old who is allergic to dairy & soya; I am going to give up breastfeeding this weekend as the pain is excruciating when her razor sharp teeth chew my nipples; my question is this: since she also won't take the dairy free formula provided by GP, is there an alternative 'milk' (such as quinoa/oat) I can give her to ensure she gets enough calcium? Overall my baby has a good varied diet full of organic foods so I'm not worried that she's not getting enough nutrients from this, it's just the milk question and I'm worried that if I stop breastfeeding and she refuses the formula then she will become defiicient in calcium....any advice ..?!

Doing a search on ocado, I can see an oat milk enriched with calcium this. It claims to have the same calcium as standard milk. I can't find any quinoa milk. It's only 1.5%, not sure if that's blue top or green top?

It is only 1.5% fat so more like semi-skimmed milk than whole milk which is about 4% fat. You would need to try and make sure she has plenty of other fats in her diet as it is important for development.

thanks very much for that; blimey, I hadn't even thought about the fat amounts she needs! I think quinoa milk is sold in health food shops, I need to go on a hunt. Where would I find out how much fat to give, and how? I don't have a clue where to start - can't talk to HV or GP as they seem adamant that babies this age MUST have 1pt of milk a day and I'm finding it rather wearing!

ds2 and ds3 have the fortified Oatly. But it's the fat you need to keep an eye on!

we're also veggie, which doesn't help. but they eat lots of olive oil, avocado, nuts and seeds etc

DS has oatly. I put vanilla extract (not essence) in it for the first couple of days to make it taste nicer and then he drank it plain.

thanks VERY much for all your help and advice; I will bombard her with avocadoes and olive oil on everything (she's highly allergic to the easy answer to fat - nuts) and sprinkle some sesame seeds too for good measure!

My ds2 is also allergic to cows milk and neocate gave him massive problems with reflux. He had calcium fortified oatly, with some extra oatly cream mixed in (a ratio of 30 mls oatly cream to 150 mls calcium fortified oatly milk gives something with the fat/calorie content broadly similar to full fat milk). We did check with the dietician whether this was OK and she thought it was a great idea and actually made a note to use for future reference!

oh fantastic, thanks v.much oldmotherdismiss! My girl is getting ever fussier over the past week and we're having problems getting food down her as it is - at least she still seems to be taking in Oatly so now all I need to worry about are the fruit&veg................Blimey, it's just one thing after the other here!
