Sorry if anyone has posted on here about this before but I only had a quick look through posts.
I am looking for an (affordable) easy recipe book for babies/toddlers that is on vegetarian food.
DD is almost 1 and is happy to try much of what I eat (also veggie) but I want to ensure that she is getting a balanced diet as I'm sure mine is not so wonderful.
I have been giving her vitamin drops so she shouldn't be lacking, but to be honest I would rather derive all the vitamins possible from food.
If anyone has any recommendations.... Smile

Do you need it to be specifically babies/toddlers? At 1, they can even use salt on their food.

I'm a bit of a cookbook collector Smile. Bought two vegetarian books last year and both were excellent. Really really love Ottolenghi's Plenty. You can find a lot of his recipes online because he wrote the new vegetarian column for the Guardian. I've cooked the quesadilla for DD and she loved it. Also got River Cottage veg every day, which I've cooked a few things from.

Hmm, I hadn't thought of that! I will do some googling but I do actually have the River Cottage Veg book as I got that for Xmas.

Thanks for the tip, OneLittle :)

this is good. It does have a few pointless recipes for purees but the family recipes are helpful in getting you into making food that can be spiced up for adults.

We have this www.amazon.co.uk/Baby-Child-Vegetarian-Recipes-Delicious/dp/0091853001/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1326879016&sr=8-1

It starts off with purees and weaning foods though so the first half of the book will not be relevant for you. I always planned for DD to eat mostly what we eat (which she does now at almost 9 months) but it was good for initial inspiration and new ideas. Like a previous poster, I wonder if you need a book specifically for babies. I would think that at 1 you could use/ adapt recipes in any cookbook.
