Hi
I've been weaning dd since she was 22/23wks old (was advised by doctor) anyway was going well but i had noticed that she seemed to be eating more of the jar food than homemade, i only resort to the jars if i forget to take cubes out of the freezer so there are now about 4 jars in cupboard for emergencies only, I'm not sure if its because i've stopped putting milk in with the purees but she doesn't seem that keen on them but i thought as we've been weaning well over a month she should be getting used to tastes without milk mixed in, > it could just be a phase and things will pick, I'm still giving homemade and hoping that she will get used to them, anyone else encountered the same kind of problem

I had the same problem with ds. he seemed to like the jars better. over time he got so used to the jars he wouldnt eat mine and I have had a nightmare feeding him on homecooked food.

ds is 3 now and is just eating a range of my homecooked food now (I think that he liked the 'processed' texture iyswim).

I regret giving him the jars now and wish I stuck to my guns. If I were you I would get her used to the taste of homecooked foods and texture (without an alternative of the jar) because if she is like my ds and knows there are jars she wont eat yours. (hope that makes sense!!!!)
Keep trying, you will crack it I promise x
