Hi I have just started weaning my boys, and we are about too move house and im looking at buying highchairs.

I have been looking at the ikea ones, they seem small enough, are plastic and basically does what it says on the tin...just want to know of they are safe as they dont seem to have a very big back and my one son tends to throw himself backwards a lot....??

Also how long are they in the highchairs for....

Thanks....

When I had a daycare nursery we initially used IKEA highchairs. Easy to clean & store-marvellous.

Very basic looking but the main issue for us was that all the "nicer" looking ones had umpteen nooks, crannies & crevices the were a PITA for the staff to clean. Amazing where vegetable puree gets!

They took some bashing over the years but lasted for ever-I would second the need for straps, they are easy to remove though & I used to put them in a pillowcase & sling them in the wash.

Love the antilop here too! My last trip to ikea I saw people buying them buy the trolley load. Doubt you will regret buying one Smile
