Is he eating enough?

I could do with advice please.
DS nearly 11m isn't sleeping well and slept through the night recently after having 2 bottles- had one- 7oz at half 6 then another 4oz at 8:40- he did not want to sleep that night so we tried another bottle and he slept through for the first time in 6 1/2 months.

I wonder if I'm giving him enough good during the day. We drink goat's milk and he has suspected cows milk intorelence- this is being investigated and current advice is not to give him it directly.

Breakfast- oatabix with mixed berries, goats milk and boiled water.
Followed by 7oz bottle.
Lunch- meat with veg and fruit pot
About 2ish 7oz bottle.
Dinner- pasta/rice/potato with veg and sauce. Porridge.
I try to give protein rich lunch and carb rich dinner to encourage sleeping. I don't know to give his dinner at 5 with the intention of bath and bottle at 7. Or give him
dinner at 4 so he has 2 hours to digest.

Does he needs snacks? Mid morning and afternoon?
He's a good weight and I don't want to over feed but he seems to leave some morning and afternoon bottle.

As you can probably tell I'm confused! Thanks for any advice.

Should of added, we are starting on finger foods as he hasn't coped very well before this. He is ok with orange segments and rice cakes and ham.
How on earth am stop formula at 1?

I'm no expert so bumping this for you. It sounds to me like you are doing lots of the right things and I can't think what is making him wake up. Have you tried water instead of formula at 1AM instead? He might stop wanting it if you stop giving it? I know I did this when mine was young.

I wonder whether a mid morning snack with a bottle (some carrots - you could slightly boil to make softer or some healthy biscuits etc.)

I wouldn't feed him at 4 though, I am sure 5 is fine but stand to be corrected. You could give him a last, light snack with the bottle just before bed?

Trial and error sounds the way forward to me. It wouldn't hurt to add in snacks though he seems to be eating a fair amount already.

I wouldn't bring his dinner any earlier than 5 ,otherwise it's a long time between dinner and breakfast the next day.

Stick with teh bedtime milk for now, nad give it as close to bedtime as possible.

Thanks for advice so far. I have no idea why he wakes so much, it's exhausting!
He's not a night feed since he was about 12-14 weeks old and its not something I want to encourage.

Will give tea by 5 and give a snack and see if that helps.
He's very unpredictable, what works one day won't the next despite no change to the routine.

Having a shameless bump because I'm desperate!

It might be nothing to do with the food really - I've known a few who were great sleepers as little babies but not so good as toddlers or older.

He probabably likes the comfort of a bottle, but it may just be a phase you have to live with - there isn't always a solution to every problem!
