Anyone use Baby Bjorn soft bibs?

The pelican bib type - here.

I'm thinking of getting one for my 15 m.o. who usually drops everything down him, but thought I'd ask for recommendations first. :)

yep, that's the pelican we use, mainly cos I saw them on sale! DS will 'go fishing' in the pockety bit for difficult stuff he's dropped, and it definitely helps keep bits off his legs. I like them a lot.
DS yanks them off to signal end-of-meal, but that seems to be the case with any bib I buy. While they're on, they work well, and he doesn't fuss with them if he's interested in the food.

I was about to ask on the other thread if that was the one you had. :)

They looked fairly adjustable at the neck - we had a pelican bib but it was a bit stiff & the neck was a bit tight, so DS used to rip it off as soon as it went on him.

Are they reasonably soft & flexible?

hmmm - not sure I'd call them soft - not sillicone soft. They still hold the basic pelican shape, but, they're definitely not floppy. Erm, not as hard as his plastic fork, but not soft-soft.

That doesn't help much, does it! :D

No, that's useful - it definitely sounds softer than the one I've got, so I think it's probably worth a try.

Thanks! :)

if they weren't a bit pricey I'd say "definitely get them, what have you got to lose?" - cos of course, the answer is "nearly a tenner, actually"
The neck bit is certainly soft and adjustable. I reckon you'll like 'em.

Just ordered one. Hopefully it'll reduce some of the debris in the pushchair, even if I don't use it at proper mealtimes.
