As in teddies, muslins, her fingers, my fingers, bibs, my shoulder, my jaw, anything dangly, any item of clothing, her highchair tray etc. etc.
She is b'fed so not due for weaning for 2 monthd yet, has doubled birthweight, can't sit up unaided, hasn't reached for food.
I'm wondering though, seeing as she is tasting material and detergents, would she not be better off tasting (not swallowing) food?

Babies put stuff in their mouths to see what the texture is, use their mouth as another sense organ, I guess.

Also, even if she's not teething yet, her gums may be sore, and chewing on stuff helps.

So basically, she's just being a baby! Doesn't mean she needs to chew on food. And you would be amazed at how many (food) things a gummy baby can chew through and bite a piece off. Even in a 6 month-old that can make them gag/choke, so I wouldn't give her food yet :)
