Breakfast & Supper for 6 month old

Hello,

DD is 6 months old, she's been having pureed vegetables (a good mixture of) for about 3 weeks for lunch and has 2 ice cubes worth and for the last few days she has had baby porridge for breakfast.

When should I move from baby porridge to something such as weetabix and cows milk and what would be a good food for supper?

This is my second child but cannot remember for the life of me what I did.

DD is EBF but although I don't express now I do have a few ounces in the freezer I could use up.

Any ideas / advice welcome.

Actually I've just read one of the other threads and it appears DD can have pretty much anything.

I was just a bit concerned that she was only 6 months on Thursday and didn't want to leap into giving her toast / yoghurts / all sorts really straight away. Even though she's been having veg for a few weeks and seems to enjoy it.

I might try and be brave and offer a few finger food type stuff.

I gave ds finger foods from 5 months, by 6 months I think he'd had most things except eggs. Just give her some of what you're having for dinner - tonight ds had veggie tagine and couscous.
