DD is six months old and a BLW-er. Any reason why I can't offer DD some?

cooked seafood is ok from 6 months so you could try her with them

CMOTdibbler · 05/03/2011 20:45

No reason at all. DS has always liked scallops

Hello Mrs P Scallop, I'd like to introduce you to my friend, whom I've know for some time now, Mr N Scallop

I've had a right giggle on mn tonight

They have to be cooked through though, which IMO makes it hardly worthwhile eating Smile

JetSetWilly · 09/03/2011 21:49

You're right it's not worth serving chewy scallops! Do they really have to be cooked til chewy?

With a six month old I really think you need to be a bit careful about food poisoning, I wouldn't serve anything rare to such a little one.

Sorry.

JetSetWilly · 10/03/2011 21:16

Right yes it needs to be cooked all the way through which I guess means chewy. Ah well just an idea. I'll have a think about this one as I'd really like to add lots of easy to eat seafood and fish to DD's diet
